We were there!
On 27th of April eight young woman, aged 13 to 14 years tooked the chance to immerse themselves in technical occupational fields within the Girl’s Day at Ros.
They started at Ros with a company presentation and a tour through production. This enabled the teenagers to get an impression how technical components that can be found in almost every premium vehicle are produced.
Afterwards they had the chance to take on the role of a tool mechanic. They transferred a grid into a metal sheet by means of a scoring pin, only with the help of a drawing and working description. By using letters, every girl stamped her name in the metal sheet and took it home as a memory.
Furthermore, the girls could also take a look into the field of activity of a process mechanic, where they built and tested a pneumatic control system.
At the end of the day they summed up their Girl’s Day at Ros: Five out of eight girls could imagine theirself starting a technical training course after graduating school.
