ROS GmbH & Co. KG, the family-owned company from Coburg, wins the SPE Automotive Award in the Power Train category. The renowned award honours innovative products made of plastic in the automotive sector. The flap module produced by ROS convinced the jury the most. This is the second time after 2019 that ROS has won the coveted industry award. In addition, another ROS component achieved third place in the same category.
"We are very happy to win this award," says Jan Beutnagel, Managing Director of ROS GmbH & Co KG. "It is an award first and foremost for our employees, who live our philosophy of precision in plastics every day. Therefore, this external recognition is a great sign that we are doing a good job here at ROS and that we must continue on our path."
The SPE Automotive Award has been presented every 1½ years since 1992 to innovative plastic parts and components in vehicle construction. The independent jury, consisting of experts from all areas of plastics technology, the automotive industry, recognised institutes and the trade press, evaluated all entries according to a points system based on product and industry-specific criteria. The SPE Automotive Award is presented in the following categories:
The award was presented on 17 October at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Neuss.
